UX Research Project
Project Overview
For the User Experience course at William Peace University, students were assigned to investigate the advising experience for first‑year students. My group conducted interviews, gathered student quotes, and mapped shared frustrations across of advising in the Career & Student Success Department. This collective research gave us a strong foundation and a clear picture of where students struggle most when registering for classes & tracking academic process.
After the group discovery phase, the project shifted into individual work. Each student created their own archetypes and personas based on the shared data, allowing us to explore different perspectives within the same problem space. My individual focus centered on trust, clarity, and confidence — translating our findings into a future‑state vision where students understand their courses, trust their advisors, and navigate their academic path with ease.
